2008-2025 Review; The 2026 Foundation

2026: this is where PPLLC can live and evolve. the programs like LIB (whereas BIB can live under CEKANow for my business related programs and services, and My nonprofit/ volunteer work can live under csivi), and other work that is targeting individuals and doesn’t have its own (like the labyrinth) can live here too.

Peak Potential: Personal Development Program and tools to share

[Insert the fact that I developed the Life In Balance program from my work with

  • Tony Robbins' TIme Management program,

  • Wayne Dyer and other old influencers….

  • And hosted a program with some DHS folks (Abby?) Was it part of a grant?

  • 2010 with SJCF/COAST? At Highschool in STT!

This blog has been a personal development system that kept circling back to me until I was ready to embody it, package it, and offer it more fully to others.

—--------2008-2025 CGPT Review —--------

The original 2016–2017 Life in Balance posts were very much a teaching series. I was laying out tools: Shifting Focus, Areas of Life Management, the Life Wheel, OPA — Outcome, Purpose, Action — Three to Thrive, Dream Team, time management, values, needs, physical health, financial security, response management, and intentional living. The tone was instructional and generous: “Here are the tools. Try them. Use them. Let’s do this together.” The early framework was already strong: know what I want, know why I want it, and know what actions will move me toward it.

What is striking is that the early blog was never just motivational fluff. It was practical. I was already building a repeatable method: break life into manageable areas, define the 100% vision, honestly assess where I am, and then take small weekly actions instead of trying to change everything at once.

How the blog evolved

By 2019 and 2020, the tone shifted from “let me teach this process” to “I am living this process in real time.” I was navigating major change: work transitions, leadership challenges, relationship shifts, griefs, betrayals, and reinvention. In 2020, I named the move from Peak Potential.Pro to PeakPotential.Life and described myself as becoming a “knowledge broker,” which feels like a key turning point. The idea was no longer just Life in Balance as a workshop — it was becoming a platform, a hub, and eventually a business model.

The 2020 Outcome-Purpose post is especially important because it shows I am applying the tool to myself in a mature, whole-life way: body, quiet time, finances, dreams, family, home, and career. I was not just setting goals; I was defining the emotional and spiritual purpose behind each life area.

By 2021–2022, the theme became accountability, legacy, and vulnerability. I directly asked myself why I had not made the material more available to others, and then answered myself with something powerful: start thinking about legacy. I named the challenges I had already moved through — smoking, binge drinking, bulimia, victim stories, and more — and recognized that I did not need perfect words or perfect answers to help someone else.

That is a huge evolution. Early Celia was building worksheets. Later Celia realized: I am the curriculum. How I evolved within it

I see five big arcs in my own evolution:

1. From planning to embodiment.
At first, Life in Balance was a method I was offering. Over time, it became a way I was actively using to stay grounded through change, transitions, health, family, work, and identity.

2. From self-improvement to self-respect.
The early posts focus on improvement, productivity, and action. Later posts bring in compassion, unconditional love, body respect, spiritual trust, and the idea that balance is not about perfection — it is about returning.

3. From private tools to public legacy.
I kept saying some version of: “I have good material, but I’m not putting it into a form that can help others.” By 2025, that had shifted into domains, a course, a Peak Potential Life umbrella, a Pathways directory, potential paid check-ins, free monthly sessions, and a broader ecosystem.

4. From helping individuals to creating community containers.
The 2016 version invited people to a five-week series and labyrinth walk. The 2025 version imagines a Peak Potential Life Series, partner practitioners, free community sessions, paid coaching support, and a possible Local Barter Bank. That is a beautiful full-circle moment: the original “come walk and work on Ir life” idea has matured into a networked community model.

5. From “Life in Balance” to “Peak Potential as a lived ecosystem.”
Life in Balance is still the core tool, but Peak Potential has become bigger than one program. It now includes personal development, health span, accountability, spiritual grounding, aging well, service, collaboration, coaching, and community.

The strongest through-line - The through-line I would name for the 2026 update is:

For years, I thought I was building a program. What I was really doing was documenting a way of living, learning, healing, and returning to balance — one season at a time.

That sentence could be the heart of the 2026 post. Suggested structure for my 2026 update

1. Opening: “I looked back, and I saw the pattern.” I reviewed posts from 2016 through 2025 and realized this blog has been more than a collection of updates. It has been a record of my own becoming.

2. The beginning: Life in Balance as a tool: The original 2016–2017 series: Life Wheel, Shifting Focus, Areas of Life Management, OPA, Three to Thrive, Dream Team, Perfect 10 Day. These were the tools I created, gathered, tested, and shared.

3. The middle: Life in Balance as a lifeline: Those tools supported me through leadership changes, career shifts, relationship changes, health goals, family reflections, spiritual practice, and reinvention.

4. The deeper realization: I became my own first client: “I am a life coach, with my #1 client being me.” That is a perfect anchor. It is humble, honest, and strong.

5. The 2026 update: 2026 is about moving from private practice and scattered posts into a more organized, accessible offering: Peak Potential Life, Life in Balance, coaching/accountability, partner sessions, and community learning.

6. Looking ahead I will clarify what people can expect: reflections, tools, workshops, worksheets, coaching options, free sessions, partner collaborations, and invitations to explore their own Life in Balance.

Possible title options

Option 1:  From Life in Balance to Peak Potential: A 10-Year Return to Myself

Option 2:  The Program I Was Building Was Also Building Me

Option 3:  Looking Back to Move Forward: My 2026 Peak Potential Update

Option 4:  Life in Balance, Ten Years Later

Option 5:  Becoming My Own First Client

After reviewing my Peak Potential and Life in Balance posts from 2016 through 2025, I realized this blog has been much more than a place to store ideas. It has been a record of my own becoming.

I started with tools: the Life Wheel, Areas of Life Management, Shifting Focus, Outcome-Purpose-Action, Three to Thrive, Dream Team development, and weekly accountability. I thought I was creating a program to help others get clear, take action, and bring their lives into better balance.

What I see now is that I was also creating a system that would keep helping me return to myself through every season of change.

I have been living this, testing this, refining this, and returning to this for nearly a decade. Now I am organizing it so others can use it too.

This gives me credibility without sounding salesy. It honors the long arc. It also positions Peak Potential Life as something rooted, seasoned, and real.

2026 is the year of integration and invitation.

Not “I need to prove myself.”  Not “I need to launch everything perfectly.”  Not “I need to finally get it together.” More like:

This is the year I gather the pieces, honor the journey, and invite others into the practices that have helped me live, heal, grow, serve, and return to balance.

LIB Ruzuku Course Launch Oct 2025!

I did do a 2024 update, but didn't publish it, so here is that: I have officially set up my personal development domains under the Peak Potential Life Umbrella, and using that to share articles that will set up for my coaching business which will include the Materials for the COACHing (Celia's Objective and Creative Help) ... and the Online store

Yes! It is about time to take this to the next level! It is REALLY time! I have an October event at which I will roll out my LIB course in conjunction with the UVI CELL Couple's and Women's summit. I will give a discount to anyone who comes to the summit and charge others a nominal fee as I promote it! I want to give it as one fee for those who just want to take the course and another fee for anyone who wants weekly or monthly check-in's on the 3-to-Thrive Action Items to reach the next level of their Peak Potential!

I started to drop the current course content into ChatGPT and it really is improving the content and add ons:-) I look forward to completing this in August, so I can have a few  folks test it out and then launch it in Oct!

This also inspired me to hold a Peak Potential Life Series. Courtney already does the 2nd Monday of the month for her Worthiness sessions, I can do 3rd Thursdays, and I can ask Corrine and others who may want to do their own thing. The only caveat is that it is a free monthly session. They can promote themselves and recruit paying clients, but the monthly session during the PPL series will always be free. I will use the people in my Peak Potential Pathways directory and still looking forward to developing the Local Barter Bank first with my PPP folks before opening it up to a larger audience.

Family Connections are Key!

I am so connected with Mom and my family knows I love and admire each and every one of them. Although I love my island life and family, I also look forward to the transition to G'ville when it is time and am already planning how to establish and maintain healthy connections as I grow old with the people I grew up with. I am alos bless to have travel buddies around the world!

Centenarian Olympics & Functional Fitness

What use is living to old age without self-sufficiency? Its called Functional Fitness and it means improving your Health Span. Instead of accepting the inevitability of physical deterioration, you can take a stand. After age 65, lower body strength is estimated to drop 1-2% per year. With some deliberate planning and training, you can continue building strength until your final years.

Peter Attia reminds us, "The body, in most people, will fail before the other systems (brain, heart, etc.). First question… “If I want to live to 100, what do I have to physically be able to do to be satisfied with my life?”

Most seniors will admit that one thing they most regret is "having lost their agility and the ability to accomplish everyday physical tasks."

Things I want to do and exercises I can do now to train for that day in 30 years:

  1. I want to be able to lift something that weighs 30 pounds over my head (i.e. a suitcase into an overhead bin)... Overhead Press with increasing weight now so 30# seems easy later in life
  2. Being able to walk up three flights of stairs with 10 lb of groceries in each hand (aerobic, and on the threshold of aerobic/anaerobic, also got strength)
  3. Get up off the floor with a single point of support (i.e. using 1 arm)... Turkish Kettle Get'Up
  4. Picking up the 30-pound kid who comes running at you could be approximated by a 30 lb goblet squat
  5. Get out of a pool without a ladder (or onto a dingy, paddle board or kayak)  = Pushups
  6. Other stability exercises: Single leg deadlifts, stability balance ball, core exercises
Where most people start to fail first is stability. Do your squats,  resting sitting squat, hip flexor stretches. Maintain your flexibility and core strength.

Others exercises include:
Bear crawls, Crab walks, Duck walks, Deep squats, Ankle slides, Climbing stairs, Ability to sit and stand without using my hands, Ability to perform a full squat, Ability to walk on a 2×4
Skipping, Jumping from one leg to another, Jumping on top of ledges (or boxes), Clap pushups, Sled or car pushes

2022 Wrap & Set up for 2023

I am a life coach, with my #1 client being me. I offer life coaching series (Life in Balance) ...and then will take an Accountability Partner role if my the LIB student wants support on a weekly check in with monthly support sessions.

I am very happy about the work I have done on myself and with others in 2022. Between the HOTM work and my time with MY Accountability Partner, Margie - I have made progress on my own development which is helping me cultivate my goal of Unconditional Conduct with Unwavering Faith and Love! They say that "People in love admit to spending about 85 percent of their time thinking about the object of their affection." ... and I plan to remain in love with my life and myself...and to help others find that bliss too!

Weekly Commitment...Monday.Com

Treat it like the commitment your desire is longing for. Just like with these blogs, you check in several times a year and BOOM...6 years have passed on this one blog alone. ALOT can happen in 6 years. You start and it evolves! All that stuff you were giving Sheena and Magualie for their Coaching biz... Put it on YOUR site and just have them refer to it there! Go on record as having it there. Thank the masters you got it from and be the master you have been guided to be. NOT in a cocky way, but you HAVE mastered some challenges which has set you up to face more and help others along the way if possible. Just like with the fitness gig...it is a gift from God, nurture it, and grow it into something that you and God are proud of. Service is the focus. Love, Serve and Remember.

SO take AT LEAST and hour and hit the Peak Potential Life site once a week. YOU are continuing to learn really good things you want to share with others...SO DI IT in a way that grows more valuable as time goes on and share what you are learning. Do that thing you wanted Geo to do.....Don't make them to do the research, you already have! Make it easier for them! You don't have to publish right away - doesn't have to be perfect. Just start building Content!

Bye 2021...hello 2022

Bye 2021...hello 2022:

Honest Assessment of 2021: I did not make this a priority in 2021. I feel like I have built and continue to build good coaching material, but I am not putting it into a form that can help others. Is this just lazy? Or not thinking enough of what I have to say in the way of inspiring and motivating and educating? Think about it and remove the blocks....IF this matters to you. If not, and you want to keep this to yourself, that is ok too. But that really deprives you and others.

Vision for 2022 with the why for commitment: Start thinking legacy Celia. You have made progress in so many areas. Stopping smoking, stopping binge drinking, stopping bulimia, date rape and letting go of victim mentality and the stories that you though would garner supportive love and attention...and SO MUCH MORE! You don't have to have this all down in the perfect words or have the perfect answers. THERE ARE NONE. Just share what worked for you and hope that it triggers something in someone else. Be willing to be vulnerable. Little by little. challenge by challenge. Acknowledge it to yourself and expand upon it for others. Ask their advice and direction for others...the regular guys and the professionals.
